Personal Information

R. Phillip Parker was born in Jackson, Mississippi, on September 9, 1967.  He is married to Debbie Nelson Parker, and has two sons, Nelson and Peyton.  He graduated from Woodland Hills Baptist Academy in 1985, and went on to graduate from Mississippi State University with an accounting degree in 1990.  He received his Certified Public Accountant Certificate in September of 1994. Upon receiving his certificate, he became a partner with his father, Bob, and brother, Kenny, in Parker and Associates.

Professional Development

Involved in all aspects of services offered by Parker and Associates, CPA's, he takes the role as the office administrator, and joins to share in the duties of office management. Involved with numerous clients offering services from Audits of Not-For-Profit organizations to Compilations. He also prepares all types of tax returns, which include Corporate, Partnership, Individual, and Trust.  He is the main contact in the office for the preparation of Trust and Fiduciary tax returns.   Maintains at a minimum of 40 hours a year continuing education requirements in order to stay licensed with the State of Mississippi CPA Society.

Membership, Business Activities, and community Service

Member of the Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants from 1994 to present.                Member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants from 1994 to present.                 Past board member and actively involved in the Madison County Rotary Club.                                  Actively involved in  First Presbyterian Church, where he has helped as an usher and works on the outreach committee.   Involved in numerous other activities at the church.
