Personal Information

Robert D. Parker, was born in Jackson, Mississippi, on April 18, 1940.   He is married to Phyllis G. Parker, and has three sons, W. Christopher Parker, Kenneth M. Parker, and R. Phillip Parker, all of which are Certified Public Accountants.   Bob was honorably discharged from the U.S. Airforce after serving 8 years in the Air National Guard.  He graduated from High School in 1958 from Central High School, in Jackson, MS.  From there he went to and graduated from Mississippi State University, in 1963, with a Bachelor of Science Degree.  He received his Certified Public Accountant Certificate on March 14, 1967.

Professional Development

Involved in all aspects of office management which includes review and preparation of individual income tax returns, and currently leaning on an emphasis in Retirement Planning, Estate Planning, Financial and Investment advisory, through a dual professional relationship with the Equitable Group.  Bob has prepared numerous business valuations, and professionally appeared in court as an expert witness.   Annually obtains a minimum of 40 hours of Continuing Education for various accounting and auditing procedures each year over the past 20 years.
